Congratulations to TOLULOPE JIMOH for becoming the National Champion in Microsoft Excel 2007 in the Microsoft Office Competition organized by READMANNA Ventures Limited, Lagos. He will be representing Nigeria in the World Championship taking place in Utah, USA in August 2010.
Congratulations also to BUKOYE OPEYEMI and GIWA RAHMAT for coming second in Microsoft Word 2003 and Microsoft Word 2007 respectively. They will each receive a laptop.
Petrol Development Fund Competition
In the Essay Competition, Funmilayo JIMOH (SS1) came FIRST out of 90 students writing an essay on the topic ‘Effects of Oil and Gas Pollution on the Environment’. She qualifies to represent Kwara State in the Zonal Finals in April.
She wins =N=15,000.00 for herself and =N=10,000 for the College.
In the Quiz Competition Dapo BALOGUN (SS2) and Olamijin ADEBAYO (SS2) came FIRST in the first round (17/20 marks) and SECOND in the Oral Science Quiz. They qualify to represent Kwara State in the Zonal Finals and won =N=15,000 for the College.
Mr. Oriolowo and Mr. Meghai who prepared them for the Competition were each awarded =N=5,000

Funke LAWANI, Tomisin BELLO, Hakeem SALAUDEEN, Ugonabo NDUBISI and their teacher Mr. S T DAJO who won second place in the Rocket Competition organized by the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) in Abuja last week.
It should be noted that out of 45 participating schools the rocket produced by TAICO was the only one that launched successfully. One has to ask the question why the school that came first won by .5 of a mark when their rocket didn’t launch?
CONGRATULATIONS to the College Choir for gaining FIRST PLACE in the Musical Concert 2009 Competition held in Offa on the 24th October 2009.
Choirs from three States of the Federation took part in a Competition which had very high standards. Congratulations to Mr. Adedoyin and the Choir for this outstanding success.
